she is no fool,
to live with a love
as only Jesus could give.
Although her name
may have no fame,
I hold her high
within my mind.
I've known her for a while now,
yet she never ceases to amaze me somehow.
I think I've got her figured out,
then return the next day and renew my doubt.
I'm glad she's in my life, though,
and I'd hate to have her as my foe.
But truly I can call her friend,
the one watching out for me that I never had.
I have her two more years,
then I may shed some tears.
For I will miss her,
but I will never forget Kelly Dirks.
