...Just a Cross?

A simple cross,
the symbol of our boss.
Just a plain old tree,
is all many see.

But there's so much more,
if you look into the core.
See the nails, feel his pain,
did he die in vain?

No! On that glorious third day,
he was risen, he is the way.
He holds the key,
to eternity.

That simple cross,
the devil's loss.
God's victory, God has won.
We must thank him and have fun.

For this life will pass by,
and then we will all die.
Joining God forever,
so act out now this endeavor.
